U-Haul Rentals/Reservations Set to Go Live August 4, 2009!

Got news yesterday that basically says we are going live as a U-Haul Dealership Tuesday, August 4, 2009! We’ve been getting news things here and there, and we are ready to get started. We will be the newest dealership in the area, and the only one in the immediate 2-mile radius of our location. If you want to save time and money, come look at us.

We’ll have all three things to make any move or storage time the easiest possible: Truck rentals, storage in various sizes to fit your needs, and all moving and storage supplies at great prices.

The Grand Opening Celebration is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2009. We hope to have lots of guests from the business area and the general public. We are planning to have refreshments and food.

The word must spread!

VERY EXCITING NEWS!

In a matter of weeks, we shall be a bona fide U-Haul dealer!

What this means is we will be renting out u-Haul trucks and moving equipment to the community! No need to worry about how to get your items to your new storage! We will officially be a one-stop shop for all your storage needs! Whether it be a rental truck to move your items in or out of your storage, a local rental truck for moving from one place to another, or a one-way rental to get you to your new city, we will have it all.

Even better, as you can see, we will still be offering the great customer service experience at the best deals in the Valley! This new dealership with U-haul will just expand our reach to help out our community. And for many of you familiar with moving in the East San Fernando Valley, you know there is a scarcity of U-Haul rental facilities in our immediate area! No more driving to Van Nuys just to pick up a rental! That costs fuel and mileage… You’ll soon be able to rent a truck or moving van here at Arleta Self Storage and reduce your costs while protecting the environment!

We’ll do our best to keep you up to date on the goings on with the start date. We are planning to host a grand opening party near the beginning of August. When I have a finalized date, I’ll post it here. It will definitely be open to the public! Check for more news when we have it!

New Services to be Offered!

Coming soon, we will be offering new services to add to your storage experience here at Arleta Self Storage. I will detail them below:

1. Mail Collection/Forwarding Address: Let’s say you’re moving, and you no longer have a permanent address that you can use to collect your mail. Well, that’s where we come in! We will provide you with the necessary forms from the United States Postal Service to forward your mail to our address. We will collect the mail everyday and sort it for you. You can come by anytime during business hours and pick up your mail with your ID! Another option would be to use us as an ongoing mail solution, and we would be happy to collect most forms of mail on your behalf. A great and convenient way to get your mail, without paying for a PO Box or when you are between homes.
After you’re through using us for your postal needs, we’ll even provide you with another forwarding order to get mail at your new home!

2. Copy & Fax Center: For only $.10 a page, we’ll fax or copy something for you. For faxes, all you would need is a cover letter to let the other end know who it’s from! Copies are also cinch!

3. Bicycle and Other Small Item Storage: Live nearby and don’t have a place to store your bicycle/motorcycle? We have an easy storage solution for you! We will provide a storage unit with a bicycle rack and a bike lock to secure your bicycle for very great rate each month! We’re thinking about other small items that people use frequently, so if you have an idea, email us!

These are just a few of the services we’re adding to our growing business, and we want to let you know we’re constantly thinking of the customer to make the storage experience the best it can be!

During this rough economic period in our nation’s history, Arleta Self Storage has placed a temporary freeze on unit rate increases. Therefore, our customers can have peace of mind, knowing their current rental rate will not take the brunt of rising costs.

It is one aspect of our continuing mission to create the best self storage experience. “Customer Service” begins with the customer!

As we head into May, more and more people begin to move: school is out, businesses give vacations, and the weather is just right to get a fresh start. Part of moving also involves storage. This may be due to not having enough room at your new place or you just need an interim place to hold your things while you’re waiting for escrow to close on your new house!

Whatever the case may be, Arleta Self Storage is going to be right there for you all summer. We are offering great low rates for the area with limited time move-in offers galore! We want to make sure this season is the easiest moving season you have, despite the current economic climate.

The trick is to not waste any time. If you see a unit you like, you gotta take hold. Our reservations process is a cinch! Reserve a unit for free in two easy steps on our website. Better yet, make an appoint with Alex or Rudy today to take a tour of our facility. Also, if you see a move-in special one month, it may not be around the next month. Don’t let it slip away!
